Kirkland Vodka: The Costco Store Brand, the Producer the Press Names, and the Filers on File

Costco has no distillery of its own and contracts out its private label spirits, and the American vodka's label names Fairmont Ltd, VinePair reported. Tasting Table traced the same vodka through federal label records to LeVecke Corp. of Mira Loma, California, registered in 2012.

Who makes the Kirkland American vodka

The LeVecke name has been part of the beverage industry from 1949, beginning in beer, then wine, then spirits, the company's website says. The Takeout described the vodka as corn-based and reported that Wirecutter named it the best vodka of 2024. The "Kirkland Signature" name itself has been on Costco shelves for over three decades, the same outlet said.

What is in the Kirkland bottle

The American vodka is 80 proof (40% alcohol by volume), distilled six times before bottling, and labeled gluten-free, Tasting Table reported. It comes in the same 1.75-liter bottle as many warehouse-club spirits at Costco, including several vodkas, tequilas, and whiskeys, the report said. That bottle sold for $15.69 in Washington State Costco locations in March 2026, and Tasting Table called it one of the warehouse's lowest priced spirits per volume, among vodkas that include Tito's and Ketel One.

The American and French Kirkland vodkas

Costco offers two Kirkland vodkas: an American version and a Five Times Distilled one, VinePair reported. The overseas counterpart is the "Kirkland Signature Five Times Distilled Vodka," often called the brand's French Vodka, Tasting Table said.

Filers on file: Kentucky and California

A Kirkland approval dated 27 July 2026 was filed by The Bardstown Bourbon Company, LLC of Bardstown, Kentucky and lists Kentucky as the label origin on file, the BUY.VODKA TTB snapshot shows. An approval dated 30 July 2026 was filed by O'Neill Vintners & Distillers of Parlier, California and lists California. Each approval appears in the TTB label records for Kirkland on this page.
